The first weekend of 2009 — as well as the extended holiday season — is about to come to an end, as I look forward to the rest of  the year, and hopefully get my life back on track, in terms of personal and career goals.  I’m also hoping that I won’t have to deal with any incidents — near-death or any other — in 2009, as well as the decades to come; after what my mother and I had to endure last spring, we don’t need any more calamities to turn our lives (and that of our extended family) upside down.
One thing I hope to do in the weeks and months to come is write more blog entries on a somewhat regular basis, partly to help boost my writing career — and yes, comments from everybody reading said articles are always welcome.  I’d like to think of it as a kind of New Year’s resolution — even though I’m writing this on January 4th, three days after 2009 began — one that’ll benefit not only yours truly, but probably everybody else, including those visiting my Windows Live Spaces site.  Barring any future incidents — and in today’s world, you never know — I hope I can be up to the task.
I’d write more, but I do have to get up early tomorrow morning.  Hopefully, later on tomorrow, I can write my next blog entry, as I share my feelings about how the current economical crisis is affecting the U.S. radio industry, including that in Connecticut — and trust me, it won’t be as long-winded as you think.
