It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog entry — the simple truth is that I’ve been busy for almost two months, including attending the burial of one of my last surviving aunts in Berlin, New Hampshire before Memorial Day weekend last month, and having to deal with an arthritic right knee not long after (and I’ve been reading about the various forms of arthritis on Wikipedia‘s website), which is why I haven’t been to the local YMCA and/or worked out on the treadmill since coming back from New Hampshire last month.
Now that I’ve got few commitments to worry about for the next few weeks (except for my trips to see my various doctors), I’ll have a bit more time to concentrate on not only my writing projects, but also trying to promote them.  Luckily, I’ve got several advantages when it comes to such goals, including my new laptop computer that I got on my 45th birthday last month and which I use to work on my writing whenever I’m out of my home for a certain period of time (and which also has the advantage within an advantage of having Wi-Fi Internet capabilities, very helpful when you can send a file attachment from one e-mail address to another).  In the coming weeks, I’m hoping that the local newspapers in my area will do a brief piece on Chameleons To The Rescue, in the hopes that it’ll encourage those reading them to buy one of more copies of my book (in both regular book and e-mail formats) — but don’t forget to buy one or more copies of Code Name: Chameleons, the book that really started it all, okay?  I’m also considering using the Internet a bit farther to get both books the needed attention that they deserve — more on that not only in a future blog entry, but also my website and other pages on Facebook and My Space.  I’d write more — but it’s after 8p.m. (EDST, that is), and I do need to hone my writing skills before I go to bed.
Stay tuned — or stay connected, for those of you who’re Interset-savvy.
